Service to Hong Kong and Thailand has been temporarily suspended due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
We are currently providing service only to Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia.

| Compensation for damage | Similar to that of the regular EMS service. However, please note that there is no compensation if the item is spoiled because it was not delivered in cases where it was kept by customs at the destination as a prohibited article or where delivery was attempted but was unsuccessful due to the circumstances of the addressee. | ||

Important Notices
- To use the service, you need to make an advanced booking .
- You can use the same label as for the regular EMS service. (You can also use the International Mail My Page Service.)
- Please carefully confirm the "Best Before" or "Expiration Date" of the items you wish to send.
- Please refrigerate your items for at least 6 hours under 10 degrees C temperature (for Chilled type) and at least 12 hours under minus 15 degrees C temperature (for Frozen type) before shipping them with us.
- Similar to the regular EMS service, items that are prohibited from import cannot be sent.
- Customs tax may apply at the country of destination during the import clearance procedures.
- We cannot accept items the contents of which exceeds 200,000 yen in value.
- Please pack your items in one box (as for the regular EMS service,)

When you ship food products
Please check the homepage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan to confirm about the food items for shipment.
- Please check the
"Control Measures of Foreign Countries and Territories" in order to confirm the regulations in relation to radioactivity checks of the food items originating in Japan as well as import restrictions on them. - If you are sending fruits or vegetables please check the
"Quarantine Requirements List for Sending Plants Overseas" - If you are sending meat or other animal products, please check the
"Animal Quarantine Station"

Send a FAX to the post office before noon 5 days before the desired shipping date

The post office staff will contact you by the next day following the application deadline.
Please note that if the number of bookings exceeds our regular quota, we may be unable to handle your application.

Refregiate your items, pack them, and send. Please prepare one original copy of the "Declaration form for certification of Cool EMS items" for Cool EMS to Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand.
