Occurrence of ignition accident regarding products included in the catalogue

Regarding the "compact battery with jump-start function," a product included in "Men's Style," a catalogue for which Japan Post Co., Ltd. is arranging the sales at post offices, there was a report from the manufacturer of the product, Toho Corporation, that an ignition accident of the product occurred and was notified to the Consumer Affairs Agency on March 9 (Wed), 2016.
Accordingly, we ask customers who have the products listed below at hand to not use them and to store them until we make contact separately.
We deeply apologize for this inconvenience.

Background

Regarding the "compact battery with jump-start function" included in "Men's Style" catalogue, we received a report from one customer that it caught fire upon usage.
While Toho Corporation, the manufacturer, is implementing an investigation as to the cause of the accident, it has yet to be identified. Therefore, we decided to notify our customers to ask for suspension of the use of the product on our own accord.
