When using the following optional service, the optional service charge is added to the shipping fee of the Standard Mail Services (letter,postcard) or the parcel.

- Amount to be collected is 2 million yen or less. When the amount to be collected is 300,000 or more, it is required to be handled as ordinary registered mail (security service applied for Yu-Pack parcel).
- Cash on delivery cannot be used for postal envelope.

- Delivery date cannot be designated for the third class mail, Braille materials, fourth class mails other than acceptance-recorded mail, and parcels other than Yu-Mail.
- As a general rule, any date within 10 days from two days after the deposit date can be designated as the delivery date.
