(Follow-up Notice 2) Resumption of Acceptance of Mail to the United States |

As of Tuesday, April 14, 2026, we resumed accepting certain postal items destined for the United States and U.S. overseas territories at designated post offices.
Under the new U.S. CBP rule, the maximum content value for postal items subject to the prepayment of duties will be raised from the previous 800 to 2,500 U.S. dollars, starting Friday, July 24, 2026. Accordingly, we will be changing our conditions for sending.
For postal items with a content value of 2,500 U.S. dollars or less, you can send them after registering the prepayment of duties via an app provided by the company we recommend (certified company), using a label created with that app.
Please note that documents and bona fide gifts valued at 100 U.S. dollars or less will remain duty-free as before and can be sent without registering the prepayment of duties.

We will increase the number of designated offices gradually. - 3: We request that you personally prepay the duties to the US Customs using the app offered by the company we recommend ( certified company (Japanese Version Only)) from among the qualified parties approved by the CBP.
Note: If the content value exceeds 200,000 yen (approximately 1,250 U.S. dollars), an export declaration to Japan Customs is required in addition to the above procedure.
