Investigation Request Form

If a mail item that you posted has not arrived, you can request an investigation at the Post Office for registered, insured, and e-packet light items, parcels, and EMS. If you sent a mail item abroad, you can request an inquiry at the post office where you mailed it. We apologize that we cannot accept inquiries by phone.

  Registered, insured, ePacket Light Parcels EMS
Period of inquiry 6 months from the day after posting. 6 months from the day after posting (in the case of South Africa one year*). Please check the information for each country and territory because each one has a different period.
Documents needed
  • Investigation Request Form. (Excel:81kB)
  • ID (such as your driver's license, passport, residence card, etc)
  • (To overseas) Receipt for international mail.
    (From overseas) Receipt issued by overseas post office.
  • EMS inquiry. (Excel:66kB)
  • ID (such as your driver's license, passport, residence card, etc)
  • (To overseas) Acceptance receipt of EMS item and Sender's copy.
  • Please note that we cannot accept inquiries about parcels sent from South Africa.
