Delay of Mail Delivery to the Mainland United States of America

January 27, 2026

The designated postal operator of the United States (USPS) has informed us that a severe cold wave has caused mail delivery delays across all regions of the mainland United States of America.

Significant delays are expected for all types of mail (ordinary mail, parcel and EMS) in the Ohio Valley, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeastern regions, where snowfall is forecast to exceed 12 inches (approximately 30 centimeters).

There may also be delays in the arrival of mail sent to Japan from the same areas.

Thank you for your kind understanding of this situation.
