Delivery of postal items during the "Golden Week" period

Delivery of postal items during the "Golden Week" period (from April 29, [Sat, holiday] 2017, to May 8 [Mon], 2017) will be as follows.

The following items will be delivered every day, even on Sundays and holidays.

Domestic mail (registered mail, etc.)

  • Specially treated postal items including express mail, registered mail, cash on delivery, delivery time-specified mail, and delivery date-specified mail
  • Electronic postal mail (Letax)
  • Specified postage-paid envelope (letter pack)

International mail (registered mail, etc.)

  • Express mail, registered mail and insured ordinary postal items
  • Ordinary parcel postal items
  • Express Mail Service (EMS)

Packages

  • Yu-Pack parcel
  • Yu-Packet
  • Yu-mail (only specially treated postal items, namely express mail, registered mail, cash on delivery, and delivery date-specified mail)
