Please write the customs declaration in English (recommended) or French.
To clear your item, Customs officials in the country of destination need to know what the contents are. You must therefore complete your declaration fully, accurately and legibly. Otherwise delay and inconvenience may be caused to the addressee.
Moreover, a false, misleading or incomplete declaration may lead to the seizure of the package.
It is also your responsibility to inquire into import and export regulations (prohibitions, make-up, etc.) and to find out what documents, if any (certificate of origin, health certificate, invoice, etc.), are required in the country of destination and to attach them to this form.
If the total value of the contents exceeds \200,000, the items must be declared to Customs for clearance. In this case, you need to inform us at the time of posting that you will depute us or another broker to clear your items. You are requested to submit a letter of deputation to us if you request us to clear your items. (This applies to the
items that are posted after February 16,2008.)
Notes:
- Description as a gift or a sample of merchandise does not dispense with the requirements for detailed completion of the form, nor does it necessarily imply that the goods will be admitted free of duty in the country of destination.
- Your signature on the front is regarded as confirming that the particulars given in the customs declaration are correct and that this item does not contain any dangerous article prohibited by postal regulations or for which air transport is prohibited.
- Please state contents indicating separately different kinds of goods.
General descriptions such as "foodstuffs", "samples", "spare parts" etc. are not acceptable. - Please state net weight of each kind of goods.
- Please state the value of each kind of goods separately, indicateing the monetary unit used.
- Please enter the total number of pieces and the number of this piece only in the case of multiple items covered by one Invoice.
- The HS tariff number must be based on the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System developed by the World Customs Organization.
- Please keep the sender's copy in order to make an inquiry.

- In the event a postal parcel is lost or its contents are stolen or damaged while being handles, you may claim indemnity for the amount of actual damage within the limit of the claimable amount of indemnity you have requested. If you are sending something more valuable than the amount of indemnity mentioned below, please have it insured.

- Instructions in the case of non-delivery of the parcel: If you select "Return to sender" or "Redirect", the corresponding charge for returning or redirecting the parcel will be assessed.

You are requested to submit a letter of deputation to us if you request us to clear your items.
In the event of registered mail is lost or its contents are stolen or damaged while being handled, you may claim indemnity for the amount of actual damage up to 6,000yen. However, we do not indemnify for indirect loss or expected benefit under any circumstances.
Please retain the Receipt for International Mail(sender's copy) in order to make an inquiry.
