About Changes to the International Mail Requirements List

March 15, 2013

The International Mail Requirements List will change on March 15, 2013.

Please refer to the following regulations associated with the food items shipment to Brazil (for more details please see the "Requirements List").

(Prohibited goods)

  • Liquor
  • Animal products
  • Admitted as hazardous foods by Laboratorio Nacional da Analyses and National Health Surveillance Agency(Anvisa)
  • Goods that Prohibited by Japan government

(Conditionally acceptable articles)

  • Seaweed (Dried lavers etc.), fish, tea that are not violating to the laws and regulation of Brazil Government
  • Goods from Fukushima as commercial use must provide a Certificate for submission that issued by Japan Government
