Regarding Postal Delays Due to Heavy Snowfalls in Europe, Announcement #3
December 22, 2010
On December 10 we made an announcement regarding interference with the postal deliveries in parts of Europe caused by heavy snowfalls in the region. (https://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/information/2010/1210_02_en.html)
As of December 22, since the impact of snow can still be observed, the delays of postal deliveries to Europe are continuing.
We have received announcements about postal delays from the following territories, as the impact of snowfalls there has been particularly strong. Please note that the deliveries may take a few days longer than usual as the current situation also overlaps with the Christmas season with the increased number of postal items.
