Prohibition on Sending of Counterfeit or Pirated Goods

As of Friday, January 1, 2010, counterfeit and pirated goods have been added to the list of items prohibited from being included in postal parcels under the Universal Postal Convention.
Note that you may not send or receive counterfeit or pirated goods via international post.
Additionally, the Customs Act prohibits the import or export of counterfeit goods, pirated DVDs and other articles that infringe upon trademarks, copyrights or other intellectual property rights. Attempting to bring such articles into the country is a punishable offense
