Temporary Cessation of EMS Next Day Delivery Services to Shanghai,Hong Kong and Singapore

Due to the cessation of airline flights, EMS next day delivery services to Shanghai,Hong Kong and Singapore are temporarily halted.

EMS which cannot be delivered the next day are:

  • Those posted to Shanghai from December 31 (Wednesday) 2008 to January 2 (Friday) 2009
  • Those posted to Hong Kong
    (1)from inside Tokyo from December 26(Friday) 2008 to Januray 5(Monday) 2009
    (2)from inside Osaka from December 25(Thursday) 2008 to Januray 5(Monday) 2009
  • Those posted to Singapore
    (1)from inside Tokyo from December 29(Monday) 2008 to Januray 6(Tuesday) 2009
    (2)from inside Osaka from December 29(Monday) 2008 to Januray 5(Monday) 2009

Services will resume as normal from January 5 (Monday) 2009 for those posted to Shanghai, January 6 (Tuesday) 2009 for Hong Kong,January 7 2009 (Wednesday) for Singapore from inside Tokyo and January 6(Tuesdsay) 2009 from inside Osaka.

(※) For those posted outside the cessation period, there is a possibility that delivery will take longer depending on flight load situation, transportation conditions and customs inspection.In the case that the postal goods are subject to taxation or customs inspections, delivery will take place after the prescribed customs formalities are completed.
