Concerning the resumption of postal services and/or the elimination of delays in mail deliveries to selected international locations.

April 10, 2008

The Japan Post will resume acceptance of mail addressed to certain international locations, while removing others from the list of countries and regions where there is a delay in mail delivery. Please consult the following tables for details:

Postal Service Resumption

Postal services to the following countries and regions will be resumed.

Elimination of Delays in All Mail Deliveries

Delays are no longer expected for all mail deliveries to the following countries and regions.

Partial Elimination of Delays in Mail Services

Delays for EMS, airmail, and SAL mail to Australia have been eliminated, while delays in the delivery of surface mail are expected to continue.
