Early sending of Christmas mail is recommended (regarding surface mail)

The following are the respective deadlines for Christmas mail, cards, etc. by surface to be delivered or handled at post offices in destination countries/areas by Christmas.

  1. It takes a few days for parcels, small packets and other mails including goods to receive a customs inspection in destination countries/areas. Therefore, please send those mails as early as possible regardless of the above deadlines.
  2. No deadlines are set for destination countries/areas not listed in the table because delivery days for Christmas mails are unknown.
  3. Sending deadlines for destination countries/areas with an asterisk will be announced by the end of October.
