Notes:

  1. These mailing deadlines are the final dates set according to the delivery information received from each country/territory in order to allow enough time for Christmas mail, including cards, to be delivered in the destination countries/territories. They are not meant to restrict mailing after the deadlines.
  2. It is recommended that you send parcels, small packets, and others requiring customs inspection at the country of destination prior to the deadlines as additional time may be required.
  3. Regarding SAL Mail, where the deadline fields are left empty means that it is either impossible to establish the time needed to deliver Christmas mail or that SAL service does not provide.
  4. Regarding Sea Mail, where the deadline fields are left empty means that it is impossible to establish the time needed for delivery of Christmas mail. Where it says "Finished", the Christmas mail shipment deadline has already passed.
  5. For countries and territories not included in the table above, the Christmas mail delivery schedule is unclear, and we therefore do not set the mail shipment deadlines.

Sending New Year's Post Cards (Nenga-jo) Overseas

New Year's Post Cards issued by Japan Post (Nenga-jo) can be sent overseas with an additional postage stamp, that is, a 18-yen stamp for Airmail.
There is no special handling such as delivering New Year's Post Cards (Nenga-jo) on New Year's Day in other countries.
