About the Philippines-addressed International Express Mail (EMS) Theft Accident

We received information from the Philippines Postal Administration announcing that on January 14, 2011 there was a theft accident involving the following EMS postal items sent from Japan to the Philippines while they were being transported to the Delivery Post Office in the Philippines.
Japan Post Service Company is now contacting the relevant senders in order to provide indemnification for loss as well as refund the postal rates. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience.
Several similar theft accidents have occurred in the Philippines over recent years.
In light of the latest accident we are currently negotiating with the Philippines Postal Administration in order to ensure a more thorough preservation of the postal items.
